Bold + Modern museum wedding at Minneapolis Institute of Art

We love a wedding at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and when Emily + Devon came to us with a bold vision of all red flowers we became even more obsessed!

We included some burgundy hues and lighter shades of peach to add dimension to the red-on-red palette. Emily sourced over 100 hand-painted vases of many shapes and sizes, which we used for the ceremony installation and on all the dinner tables. We opted for mono-bloom designs throughout the day in order to highlight the unique designs of each vase.

The ceremony took place in the courtyard outside the museum just after a thunderstorm threatened to blow the whole event indoors, and was followed by all guests gathering on the grand stairs for a photo, which we just love. Guest tables lined the Jade Corridor on the 2nd floor of the museum for dinner, and the dance surrounded the fountain in the rotunda. What a party it was! Peep Emily’s outfit change, a chic second act to follow her vintage wedding gown

MIA weddings are always classy affairs, and this was no exception! We loved working with Rosetree Events and look forward to being back at the MIA next season for more fabulous events
