Vibrant + colorful early fall wedding at Hyland Hills Chalet
Sydney emailed us about 2 months before her wedding with Patrick and asked if we could add more color to the original color scheme we had planned, and we couldn’t have said yes faster! What started as tans, cream, and terra cotta turned into rich shades of burgundy, gold, and peach with hints of blue.
Sydney + Patrick’s early fall wedding took place at Hyland Hills Chalet, a beautiful venue with floor-to-(very tall) ceiling windows that overlook the grassy ski runs. The weather was perfection, as is typical of a September day in Minnesota, and joy was overflowing out of S + P, their wedding party, and all the guests.
We played up the vibrant color scheme by adding in richly-hued pillar + votive candles and mixing in moss among bud vases and candles for added texture + dimension. A large majority of the flowers were sourced locally, like always.
