Chelsea + Ephraim

Chelsea found us through a friend who is a former Fireweed bride, and I liked her from our first minute on the phone! She wanted a whimsical + romantic vibe, included tons of color in her vision, and incorporated Harry Potter-inspired elements throughout her big day. A woman after my own heart!

Chelsea and I chatted a couple times between January and July to get all the details just right before she and the love of her life, Ephraim, got married on a gorgeous summer day in late-July, at Hidden Greens in Hastings. The ceremony space is so tucked away in the trees that you feel like you’re in a secret forest! Perfect for a colorful arch that popped against the lush green background.

July in Minnesota is a haven for local flowers, so we used all the best seasonal blooms we could find. We cut plenty of flowers from our own farm, and sourced almost all the rest from our favorite nearby flower farm and local flower wholesaler. The bounty of summer flowers in Minnesota is stunning! Definitely something to plan a wedding around if you ask me….

It is so obvious how big Chelsea + Ephraim’s love for each other are—from their joy-filled nerves right before their first look, to the giant grins on their faces the entire day. Couples like C + E make me feel so darn grateful to do what I do!
