My journey to floral design started with small-scale organic farming after college. I didn’t always have a passion for flowers, but growing them—and creating hundreds of bouquets for weekly farmers' markets—quickly sparked an obsession with local blooms, color theory, and the joy that flowers bring to people.
I started Fireweed in 2020 with my own flower farm and wedding design business. I’m taking a break from farming these days in order to prioritize my wedding clients, but I still use as many local flowers as possible!
