We are inspired by nature at every turn and specialize in loose, organic styles, using farm-grown + locally-sourced blooms. We love using tons of texture and aren't afraid of color for a wedding, whether it be a bold + bright color palette or more subtle neutrals.
Each wedding we design is custom, and sharing in each unique couple's joy is our favorite thing. We serve the Twin Cities, Brainerd Lakes area, and greater Minnesota.

Hi, I’m Madeline

I found my way to floral design via small-scale organic farming after college. I didn’t always have a passion for flowers, but growing them and designing bouquets for farmers markets every week led me to become infatuated with local flowers, color theory, and making peoples’ days with flowers.
Throughout the years I worked for multiple flower farms and many wedding florists before starting Fireweed, the flower farm + design studio of my dreams. I’m currently taking a break from the farm side of things to focus on weddings and raise a sweet little boy.
I love using tons of texture and am not afraid of color, whether it be a bold + bright color palette or more subtle neutrals. Each wedding we design is custom, and sharing in each unique couple's joy is my favorite thing.
The studio is located in Northfield, MN, and we serve the Twin Cities, Brainerd Lakes Area, and beyond.
